Ben Davies earned a Bachelor's in Professional Policing before training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The discipline, attention to detail, and operational rigour of military training became the foundation of how he approaches every system he builds.

He moved into technology as an Infrastructure Analyst and AI Developer, working on large-scale, mission-critical systems where reliability and security are non-negotiable. That work led him into the Defence and Space industry, where the cost of a missed check or a broken audit trail is measured in more than money.

FleetForge was born from a simple observation: UK transport operators were being asked to run DVSA-compliant fleets with paper check sheets, disconnected spreadsheets, and software that treated compliance as an afterthought. Ben built FleetForge to bring defence-grade rigour to the daily reality of running a fleet — so every walkaround, defect, and decision is captured, attributable, and ready for inspection.

Gavin spent years behind the wheel as a PSV driver before moving into the cab of compliance — qualifying as a Transport Manager and taking on the operator-side responsibilities he once saw from the road.

That journey gives him a rare dual perspective: he knows what a driver will actually do at 5am in the yard, and he knows what a traffic commissioner will ask for in an audit.
